Dozens of fun interactive exhibits to entertain and educate at the same time.
The newest display is Science on a Sphere that includes the ability to look at animations of hurricanes past and present. But that’s not all it can do. The 6-foot-wide sphere is basically a giant, globe-shaped movie screen. Anything round can be projected onto the sphere, including computer-generated video of the Sun, the Moon and the planets — or, just for fun, the Death Star and a giant disco ball.
There also is virtual reality where you immerse yourself in an interactive environment that takes you back over 150 years to see and experience the original fort of Fort Myers! Encounter a horseshoe crab or yellow spotted stingrays up close at our Sea-to-See Touch Tanks! And see the aquarium featured on Animal Planet’s show Tanked. It’s a great place to take the kids!
